Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how Contra subscriptions are billed, how to cancel, and when refunds apply. It is part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service.

1. Subscription billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis at the price shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; it takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access to your paid features until then. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period except as described below or where required by law.

3. Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. We may, at our discretion, grant a refund or credit — for example, for a duplicate charge, a clear billing error, or an extended service failure. To request one, contact us within 30 days of the charge.

EU and UK consumers. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days. By starting to use the paid Service during that period you may be asked to acknowledge that you waive the right to a full refund for the portion already provided. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

4. Purchases made through a mobile app store

If you purchased a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store — not Contra — processes your payment and handles cancellations and refunds under its own policies. Manage the subscription and request any refund directly through your app store account.

5. How to cancel or request a refund

For subscriptions purchased on the web, open your account settings and use “Manage subscription” to cancel or update billing through our payment processor. For app-store subscriptions, cancel through the relevant app store. For refund requests or billing questions, email hello@contraterminal.com.
